The news, confirmed by her father and producer Boney Kapoor to NDTV, indicates that Janhvi is expected to be discharged in a day or two. Boney Kapoor updated that her condition is improving, though she is still struggling with weakness.
According to a source close to Janhvi, she was admitted to a hospital in South Mumbai on Thursday, leading her to postpone all appointments for the week. The hospitalization follows her return to Mumbai from Chennai on Tuesday and feeling unwell the next day.
Janhvi Kapoor has recently been juggling her professional and personal life. She attended the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant before diving into promotional activities for "Ulajh," where she portrays Suhana Bhatia.
"Ulajh," directed by Sudhanshu Saria, features Janhvi as a young diplomat entangled in a web of intrigue and conspiracy. The recently unveiled trailer shows Janhvi’s character navigating a perilous path as the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, with her competence questioned by colleagues due to perceived nepotism. The narrative promises a gripping tale set against high-stakes international diplomacy, featuring co-stars Gulshan Devaiah as a mysterious undercover agent, Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi.
