The draft voters list related to the Special Immunization Registration (SIR) process in West Bengal has been officially published today. This initial phase covers a remarkable total of 7 crore 66 lakhs 37 thousand 529 voters. Among this population, 7 crore 8 lakhs 16 thousand 616 enumeration forms have been digitized, achieving a digital conversion rate of 92.4 percent.
As part of the SIR process, over 58 lakhs names have been removed due to reasons such as absenteeism, relocation, death, or duplication. Additionally, there are 31 lakhs 38 thousand 374 voters whose names have not been matched with the 2002 voter list. These individuals will be summoned for a hearing, which commenced today and is set to continue until February 7, 2026.
For those whose names are absent from the draft voters’ rolls, it is advised to fill out Form 6 and submit it either to the designated Booth Level Officer (BLO) or through the websites voters.eci.gov.in or the ECINET app. The draft list can also be accessed via the Election Commission website, the CEO of West Bengal’s website, and other local government offices, including the offices of Block Development Officers (BDO), Sub-Divisional Officers (SDO), and District Magistrates (DM). The finalized electoral rolls are scheduled to be published in West Bengal on February 14, 2026.
