Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan has successfully wrapped up a multi-city visit to the Republic of Korea, enhancing collaboration between India and Korea in the areas of media, entertainment, culture, gaming, and emerging technologies. During his visit, Dr. Murugan met with Jin-young Choi, the President and Publisher of The Herald Media Group, which includes the Korea Herald and Herald Business.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reported that the two leaders explored opportunities for future collaboration in cultural, media, and entertainment sectors. They expressed mutual interest in promoting awareness of each other’s cultures and creative content across both nations. Additionally, Dr. Murugan engaged in discussions with members of the Korea-India Parliamentary Friendship Group, further solidifying ties between the two countries.
In a recent social media update, the Ministry highlighted that the dialogues were focused on strengthening the partnership between India and Korea. The emphasis of the discussions was on cooperation in media, entertainment, culture, and new technological frontiers.
