Celebrate Leadership: PM Shah Unveils Groundbreaking Projects at India Gate Birthday Bash with CM!
A photo exhibition organized by the NGO Delhi Study Group will take place in New Delhi to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17. The celebration will feature a series of events and initiatives aimed at highlighting the government’s achievements during Modi’s tenure.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to inaugurate 15 key projects at Thyagraj Stadium. Among these initiatives are the establishment of 101 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, five hospital blocks, and 150 dialysis centers, aimed at enhancing healthcare facilities across the capital. Simultaneously, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her Cabinet will participate in various festivities at India Gate.
At India Gate, the government plans to host the ‘Thank You Modiji’ program, which will include a blood donation camp aiming to collect 1,000 units of blood, alongside an exhibition showcasing development projects funded by the central government. An official from the Chief Minister’s Office emphasized the ambitious goal of setting a new record for blood donations during this campaign. The initiative will be part of the larger ‘Seva Pakhwada’, a 15-day social service campaign commencing on Modi’s birthday, with a specific focus on strengthening Delhi’s healthcare system.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva criticized the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, claiming they had deprived the people of Delhi for a decade, missing out on crucial social initiatives and welfare programs. He expressed that AAP leaders are now “perturbed” to see the announced public welfare projects, including new hospital blocks. “In the past ten years, the [former] AAP government began constructing multiple hospitals without sufficient budgetary allocations, resulting in incomplete projects plagued by corruption,” Sachdeva stated.
In response to these allegations, the AAP has criticized the BJP’s governance, labeling the planned ‘Seva Pakhwada’ as a ‘social service drama’. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj pointed to deteriorating road conditions, sharing visuals of pothole-ridden streets in Patparganj, and urged the BJP to address infrastructure issues before staging celebratory events. “While the PM’s birthday is commemorated with service spectacles, the BJP should prioritize fixing our roads,” Bharadwaj remarked.
As the events unfold, all eyes will be on the government’s initiatives and the public’s response, particularly as the political landscape continues to evolve in Delhi. The celebration is not only a milestone for Prime Minister Modi but also a critical juncture for health infrastructure and community services in the capital.
With strategic focus on healthcare and public welfare, the coming days promise to shed light on the effectiveness of these initiatives and their impact on the citizenry of Delhi.
