
Youths Arrested in Guwahati for Daring Stunts on Moving Car
In a swift response to a dangerous situation, the Guwahati Traffic Police arrested six young men for engaging in life-threatening stunts atop a moving vehicle on the elevated corridor bridge near the Brahmaputra. This shocking behavior, which was caught on video, posed a serious risk to public safety and prompted immediate action from law enforcement.
The individuals apprehended have been identified as Md Pinku Ali (22) from Dharapur; Md Akib Javed (21), Md Riaz Ahmed (20), Md Ashik Ali (25), Md Akib Ali (21), and Md Sahid Ali (20), all residents of Garigaon. Initial investigations revealed that the vehicles used for these stunts were rented from travel agencies situated in Six Mile and Uzanbazar. Authorities have since seized both cars involved in the incident.
Following the arrests, police initiated legal proceedings against the suspects under pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.
