The detainees have reportedly been living in Delhi for years, often working as daily laborers or domestic help.
Among those arrested was a Bangladeshi couple, Mohd. Asad Ali, 44, and Nasima Begum, 40, along with their two children, Naim Khan, 18, and Asha Moni, 13. Residing in Delhi Cantonment, the family disclosed that they had been living in India illegally for the past 12 years and originate from Kurigram district in Bangladesh.
