Meghalaya CM Brings Excitement to Williamnagar with New Mini Turf Inauguration
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated a mini synthetic turf and hosted a mini CM-Connect event at the Rongrenggre playground in Williamnagar. During the event, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to engage with citizens across the state. On his official X account, he shared, “Grateful for the chance to travel around the state, meet people face-to-face, hear their concerns, and do my best to help make things better for them.” The event also included an exhibition football match between teams from East Garo Hills and West Garo Hills.
Earlier in the day, CM Sangma inspected the ongoing construction of the Dama Chiring bridge at Masa Akong in Williamnagar, a visit prompted by concerns raised by Minister Marcuise Marak. He directed the construction firm to expedite the work and demanded daily progress reports, cautioning that “any further delay will lead to blacklisting,” as posted on his official X handle.
Additionally, Sangma visited the Williamnagar Civil Hospital, where he interacted with the staff and assessed the needs for the hospital’s overall upgrade and modernization. This comprehensive approach aims to enhance public services and ensure the welfare of the community.
