While Virat has yet to respond to these comments, Vikas did not hold back, labeling Rahul a ‘loser’ for attempting to use Virat’s name to amass followers.
In a post on Threads, Vikas expressed his frustration, urging Vaidya to focus on his own singing career instead of making unfounded attacks. He wrote, “Bache itni mehnat agar apni singing pai karle to shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaae… WHAT A LOSER (sic),” suggesting that with more dedication, Vaidya could achieve success on his own merits rather than capitalizing on Virat’s fame.
This exchange comes on the heels of Vaidya posting a controversial video where he spoke about being blocked by Virat on Instagram, further provoking the cricketer’s supporters by calling them “bigger jokers than him.” The backdrop of this feud includes a recent Instagram story from Virat, where he clarified a misunderstanding regarding his accidentally liking a photo on Avneet Kaur’s fan page. He stated, “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding (sic).”
In response, Vaidya took another jab at Virat, hinting that the Instagram algorithm might mistakenly like photos without his input, advising potential fans not to misconstrue it as intentional act on his part. He also claimed that Virat had blocked him and mentioned experiencing abuse directed towards his wife, actress Disha Parmar, and his sister, Shruti Vaidya, from Kohli’s fanbase.
