Agartala, 2nd May 2025: As the crucial NEET (UG) 2025 examination approaches, scheduled for Sunday, May 4, Tripura’s Chief Minister, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, led a high-level meeting today to ensure thorough preparation and smooth execution of the test across the state.

Gathered at the State Secretariat’s video conference hall, key officials including Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, DGP (Intelligence) Anurag, Special Secretary of the Education Department Ravel Hemendra Kumar, and Home Department Secretary Apurba Roy discussed essential security protocols and logistical arrangements for exam day. Local authorities, including District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police from West Tripura and Dhalai districts, have already conducted reviews at the examination centers, confirming the implementation of all necessary safety measures.

A press release from the Higher Education Department announced that nearly 4,892 candidates from Tripura are slated to participate in this year’s NEET (UG) exam, which will be held across 11 centers, with 10 situated in West Tripura and one in Dhalai district. Among the prominent venues in West Tripura are Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Bir Bikram Memorial College, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Kunjaban No. 1, along with several other institutions committed to accommodating the candidates.

In Dhalai, students will take the examination at Kamalpur Government English Medium Class XII School. Authorities have assured parents and students alike of stringent security measures to safeguard all candidates and ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

As the date draws closer, parents and candidates remain hopeful that their preparations will yield positive results. The government is committed to transparency and efficiency throughout this process, ensuring that the examination not only tests the candidates’ knowledge but also reflects the state’s dedication to education.

Overall, with thorough planning in place and a strong emphasis on security, Tripura aims to provide a seamless experience for all involved in the NEET (UG) 2025 examination.
