Polling commenced smoothly in the morning, with voters eager to participate, lining up well before the official opening of polling stations. As the day progressed, the enthusiasm did not wane, maintaining a high participation rate. Final voter turnout figures are anticipated to increase slightly as all data is collated.
The election proceeded without any reports of disruptions or untoward incidents, ensuring a peaceful voting process. The vibrant participation underscores the electorate’s engagement in shaping their representation amidst a closely contested electoral atmosphere.
