Shocking Development: HD Kumaraswamy Hospitalised After Severe Nosebleed During Live Media Interaction

Union Home Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, unexpectedly experienced a nosebleed while addressing the media following a coordination committee meeting with BJP and JD-S leaders on Sunday. The incident occurred in the presence of former Karnataka CM B.S. Yediyurappa, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra, and Opposition leader R. Ashoka. Despite bleeding, Kumaraswamy remained composed, handing over the briefing to Yediyurappa before being taken to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar by his son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, and other JD-S senior leaders.

Earlier in the day, Kumaraswamy had a packed schedule, visiting a temple in Nanjangud, then traveling to Mysuru for meetings, before reaching Bengaluru for the BJP and JD-S gathering. Hospital authorities currently have him under examination. Initial reports suggest the nosebleed might have been caused by blood-thinning medication, but an official statement is pending.
