Telangana Triumphs: State Govt Releases Over Rs 6,000 Cr for Life-Changing Crop Loan Waiver

In a significant move to support farmers, the Telangana state government has allocated over 6,000 crore rupees for a crop loan waiver. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy initiated the first phase of this program in Hyderabad, benefiting over 11 lakh farmers with loan waivers up to one lakh rupees each.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has assured that the second phase, which will cover loans up to 1.5 lakh rupees, is set to be completed this month. Additionally, loans up to 2 lakh rupees are expected to be waived by the end of next month. In total, this initiative aims to aid more than 40 lakh farmers, providing significant financial relief and stability to the agricultural community in Telangana.
