After concluding his three-day visit to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi, receiving commendations from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Sarma praised Modi’s visit, highlighting it as a testament to India’s pragmatic foreign policy and a nation-first approach.
Taking to the microblogging platform X, Sarma stressed the importance of the Quad Summit, asserting it is crucial for “global good.” He congratulated the Prime Minister, stating, “This visit has once again exemplified India’s pragmatic foreign policy rooted in the nation-first approach.”
The Chief Minister further highlighted the significance of the Quad alliance, noting, “The coming together of Quad partners is needed as a force for global good, where India plays a pivotal role. The enthusiastic reception received by Adarniya Modi ji reinforces Bharat’s rising stature in the world order.”
During his U.S. visit, Prime Minister Modi participated in the Quad Leaders Summit in Delaware, the hometown of U.S. President Joe Biden. He also delivered remarks at the United Nations ‘Summit of The Future’ and held bilateral discussions with several global leaders.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi shared the highlights of his visit, describing it as “fruitful,” with engagements covering a diverse array of programs aimed at making the planet better.
