The Office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Morigaon, was honoured for its outstanding performance in the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign and routine immunisation at a state-level review and orientation meeting in Guwahati. The two-day event was held at Hotel Radisson Blu from September 28 to 29, in the presence of Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Ashok Singhal.
Morigaon achieved 100 per cent HPV vaccination coverage, a milestone attributed to effective planning, coordination and teamwork among healthcare workers and stakeholders. The recognition also highlighted the district’s contributions to strengthening routine immunisation services.
