In a startling discovery, two unexploded bombs believed to date back to World War II were found by a local villager near Murtem Koro in Paro village, Dollungmukh Circle. The location is notably close to the Indian Air Force (IAF) firing range, raising immediate concerns about public safety.
The ordnances, weighing approximately 100 kg and 500 kg, were promptly reported to local police, administrative authorities, and IAF officials. Responding swiftly to the alert, Superintendent of Police (SP) Kamle Kardak Riba and his team secured the site.
