Unveiling Hope: Discover Arvind Kejriwal’s 15 Transformative Guarantees in AAP’s Game-Changing Delhi Assembly Election Manifesto!
With just over a week to go before the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal unveiled the party’s manifesto, “Kejriwal ki Guarantee.” In a move setting the stage for a high-stakes contest against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kejriwal criticized BJP for allegedly imitating AAP’s governance model. He cited unfulfilled BJP promises, such as a Rs 15,000 payout which he called “chunavi jumle” or merely election slogans.
AAP’s manifesto emphasizes welfare schemes and infrastructure upgrades, introducing 15 key promises aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Delhi residents. The manifesto includes an Employment Guarantee, which seeks to combat unemployment. Under the Mahila Samman Yojana, every woman in Delhi will receive a financial aid of Rs 2,100 monthly. The Sanjeevani Yojana promises robust healthcare access, while incorrect water bills will be rectified under the policy of waiving fake water bills.
A significant undertaking is the commitment to clean the Yamuna River and develop European-style roads. The Ambedkar Scholarship aims to ensure financial support for Dalit students, and a 50% concession on bus fares for students has been promised. Additionally, temple priests and gurudwara granthis will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 18,000 under the Pujari-Granthi Samman Rashi Scheme.
Other notable pledges include extending free utilities to tenants, fast-tracking sewer repairs, and continuing a free ration scheme. Support is also promised for drivers, offering marriage assistance and life insurance. Security will be boosted through CCTV installation and security personnel hiring.
Kejriwal highlighted potential savings of Rs 25,000 per month for families benefiting from AAP’s initiatives, urging voters to support the party symbol, Jhadu (broom). This manifesto underscores AAP’s focus on transforming Delhi through comprehensive social welfare promises.
