Two distinct cases have been lodged by the Office of the Superintendent of Police in Naharlagun, focusing on exam integrity breaches involving a mobile phone and a missing OMR sheet.
The first case arose from a complaint by the Centre Superintendent of Kendriya Vidyalaya, C-Sector, Naharlagun, after a mobile phone was discovered with Ms. Mudang Yabyang, a PWD candidate, during the examination. The device was confiscated for investigative purposes, and Yabyang’s statement was taken. She was subsequently released on the condition that she would continue to cooperate with the investigation.
In the second incident, a complaint from the Centre Superintendent of Government Higher Secondary School, G-Sector, Naharlagun, highlighted the disappearance of an OMR sheet assigned to candidate Binam Teng, numbered 110069. The investigation revealed that Teng had inadvertently taken the sheet home, which was recovered upon his admission of the mistake.
