Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the occasion at the Supreme Court Auditorium, where he released the 2023–24 Indian Judiciary report and unveiled a commemorative coin and stamp celebrating 75 years since the Constitution’s adoption.
Attending alongside them were Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and other dignitaries. The event featured a screening of a short film detailing the historical journey of the Constitution, along with the release of two books: “Making of the Constitution of India: A Glimpse” and “Making of the Constitution of India & Its Glorious Journey.” Furthermore, Sanskrit and Maithili editions of the Constitution were launched.
Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Pushkar Singh Dhami also conveyed their greetings, emphasizing the Constitution’s role as the guardian of citizens’ rights and dignity. Complementing the national celebrations, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar and led a commemorative march, or padayatra, in Bhubaneswar.
