Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood superstar, was recently spotted at Kalina Airport in Mumbai along with fellow actors Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The trio was seen next to the latest Toyota Vellfire, a luxurious MPV valued at Rs 1.32 crore, as they seemed to be heading for a shoot. A video capturing this moment was shared by Viral Bhayani on YouTube, showcasing Kumar’s association with this premium vehicle.
The latest iteration of the Toyota Vellfire features a striking design update, including a distinctive larger front grille and sleek, modern headlamps that enhance its visual appeal. The model Kumar was seen with sports a sophisticated grey finish, though it’s unconfirmed which specific variant he has opted for.
The Toyota Vellfire is known for its exceptional luxury and advanced hybrid technology, powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor. This configuration delivers approximately 193 bhp and 240 Nm of torque through an e-CVT gearbox, ensuring a smooth driving experience.
Dimensionally, the Vellfire measures 4,995 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,950 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its design includes a unique lightning-inspired window line kink, blacked-out pillars, and chrome accents, complemented by 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and stylish LED tail lamps with a connecting LED strip at the rear.
Inside, the Vellfire is packed with top-notch features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS safety systems, 360-degree cameras, and both ventilated and heated seats. The luxurious interior is further enhanced by an electric steering wheel, electric window curtains, captain seats with electric adjustments, a roof-mounted entertainment system, and a split glass roof.
Toyota offers the Vellfire in two variants: the Hi variant priced at Rs 1.22 crore and the VIP version with the Executive Lounge Package at Rs 1.32 crore, all prices being ex-showroom.
