Lords Mobility: EV Giant’s Game-Changing India Expansion
Lords Mobility, the electric vehicle brand of Lords Mark Tech Next Private Limited and a subsidiary of BSE-listed Lord’s Mark Industries Limited, plans to expand its electric three-wheeler manufacturing and assembly footprint across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Odisha. The company said the proposed facilities are expected to add about 18,000 electric three-wheelers in combined annual production and assembly capacity, subject to successful commissioning. The announcement was datelined Mumbai, 31 October 2026, and positions the expansion as a step to strengthen regional manufacturing, reduce logistics costs and generate employment.
The expansion is intended to build a geographically distributed manufacturing network beyond the company’s existing operations in Manesar, Haryana. By moving assembly closer to key markets in southern, western and eastern India, Lords Mobility expects to reduce transportation distances, lower logistics spending, improve vehicle delivery timelines and strengthen dealer inventory availability. The company also aims to improve supply-chain resilience, encourage regional component sourcing and respond faster to institutional, fleet and commercial mobility demand.
Lords Mobility is targeting the fast-growing electric three-wheeler market. Citing Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations data, the company said electric three-wheeler retail registrations reached about 8.31 lakh units in FY2025–26, up nearly 19% year on year. It added that electric three-wheelers accounted for about 61% of total three-wheeler retail registrations in calendar year 2025.
The proposed Tamil Nadu facility would tap the state’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem, engineering talent and supplier base while improving access to southern markets. Maharashtra would offer industrial infrastructure, automotive supply-chain networks and logistics connectivity for western and central India. Odisha would strengthen the company’s presence in eastern India and support regional assembly and distribution. Together, the plants are expected to reduce dependence on long-distance vehicle transportation from northern India.
The company said the expansion is expected to create direct and indirect jobs in vehicle assembly, quality assurance, testing, warehousing, logistics and plant operations, while supporting regional MSMEs, component suppliers and service providers. Lords Mobility also plans to encourage local sourcing, technical skill development and workforce training.
Alongside the manufacturing plan, Lords Mobility is targeting approximately 40% year-on-year revenue growth in FY2026–27 compared with FY2025–26, while aiming to improve EBITDA margins, a measure of operating profitability. The company expects operational efficiency, optimized logistics, supply-chain improvements, better capacity utilization and a stronger product mix to support growth and profitability.
Ramesh Kumar Miglani, Managing Director of Lords Mobility, said, “Our expansion strategy goes beyond increasing manufacturing capacity. By bringing assembly operations closer to our customers and dealer network, we aim to strengthen regional supply chains, improve delivery efficiency and make electric mobility more accessible.” He added that the proposed facilities would create opportunities for local employment and industry partnerships.
The expansion will be implemented in phases, with investment requirements, commissioning timelines and operational arrangements to be finalized as projects progress. Lords Mobility said the additional 18,000-unit annual capacity represents planned incremental capability rather than currently installed production. The company has more than 200 dealers nationwide and offers electric passenger and cargo three-wheelers.
