SpaceX successfully launched NASA’s Crew-13 mission on Oct. 1, sending the agency’s 13th long-duration crew rotation toward the International Space Station. The mission is intended to maintain station operations and continue NASA’s regular rotation of astronauts in low Earth orbit.
NASA had announced coverage of the launch and docking, while Space.com reported that SpaceX had received approval to proceed with the scheduled flight. Following liftoff, The Guardian reported that the crew expressed its appreciation with the message: “Thanks for an amazing ride.”
