She claimed that just 3,939 alleged infiltrators were deported over the past ten years under BJP rule, compared with nearly 90,000 expulsions during a comparable period of Congress governance. The party acknowledged that these figures will likely face scrutiny, given the politically charged nature of immigration data in Assam.
