Empowering Progress: BJP’s Unwavering Commitment to Transform Puducherry into a Thriving Developed Region
BJP National President Nitin Nabin addressed a gathering in Thavalakuppam, Manavely constituency, Puducherry, on Sunday, emphasizing the party’s commitment to transforming the region into a developed area ahead of the April 9 elections. Nabin reaffirmed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) dedication to fulfilling the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the 20-point agenda outlined in the party’s manifesto.
During his speech, Nabin rallied the community to support the establishment of a robust National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Puducherry. He stated, “The BJP is committed to the overall development of this Union Territory.” Highlighting financial initiatives, he announced that under the next NDA government, farmers would receive an additional ₹3,000 on top of the existing PM-KISAN assistance of ₹6,000. This would increase the total financial support for farmers in the region to ₹9,000.
Nabin also revealed plans for a dedicated job portal, ‘Thiran Paadhai’, which will facilitate quarterly employment drives. This initiative aims to partner with industries to create 10,000 internships, offering participants a monthly stipend of ₹10,000. Furthermore, he mentioned an increase in financial support during the fishing ban period, raising it from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000.
Nabin expressed confidence in the NDA’s capability to elevate Puducherry’s development, referring to the Prime Minister’s recent visit on March 1, during which he laid the groundwork for projects worth approximately ₹2,700 crore. “Our government will fulfill all promises made to the people of Puducherry,” he asserted, reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to impactful governance.
As Puducherry gears up for the upcoming elections, the BJP’s message resonates with resolve and ambition. Nabin’s address not only highlights the party’s plans for economic development but also underscores the importance of community engagement and support in realizing these objectives.
