He is also a rancher in Rockmart, Georgia, holding a B.A. in Agribusiness from Tuskegee University and a graduate degree from the U.S. Army War College. Identifying as a moderate Democrat, Harris emphasizes priorities such as lowering the cost of living, enhancing veteran healthcare, and reforming immigration policies. “For years, we’ve watched Marjorie Taylor Greene prioritize national drama over the people of Northwest Georgia. The conversation has changed, giving us a once-in-a-generation opportunity to bring real leadership back to this district,” he stated on his campaign website.
On the other side of the aisle, Clayton Fuller represents the Republican challenge and carries the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, marking this election as a crucial litmus test of Trump’s influence over his party. Fuller, a former prosecutor and current Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard, previously served as a legal advisor for U.S. Central Command operations in the Middle East. He held the position of District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit until resigning to pursue the congressional seat. This marks his second attempt after finishing fourth in the 2020 primary election won by Greene. Fuller has a robust educational background with a B.A. in English from Emory University, an M.P.A. from Cornell University, and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University.

Georgia’s 14th District, a predominantly blue-collar area extending from the Atlanta suburbs to the Tennessee border, has been a significant outpost for Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement.
