AICC Opens Media Team Recruitment — Apply Now for Congress Roles
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) Media Department, together with the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), on February 14, 2026 launched a “National Talent Hunt” at Congress Bhavan in Dimapur to recruit citizens of Nagaland for roles as party Spokespersons, Media Panelists and Researchers. The drive aims to identify and train communicators who can represent local issues on the national stage and strengthen the party’s media outreach.
AICC Media Coordinator Dolly Sharma said the programme is intended to develop the next generation of communicators through a multi-stage selection process that includes application screening, group discussions, written tests and final interviews. Applicants from Nagaland may apply via a poster announced at the event containing a QR code that links directly to the AICC headquarters’ application portal. Successful candidates will join the AICC media team.
“This initiative is not just about politics; it’s about empowerment,” Sharma said, adding that the party seeks candidates who believe in democracy and that “we want local voices to represent local issues at the national level.” She noted there is no age limit for applicants, proficiency in Hindi is not mandatory since candidates can present in English, and selected participants may work remotely via video conferencing or travel with party support when required.
NPCC Working President C. Apok Jamir urged youth participation, describing the northeast as a “reservoir of talent” and saying the initiative will help highlight young people’s problems and demands at the national level. Registration for the National Talent Hunt closes on February 28, 2026.
