Recently, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School celebrated its annual day function, featuring performances by over 120 children, much to the delight of their cheering parents. The event attracted several celebrity parents, including Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who came to support their son, Jeh. Other notable attendees included Kunal Kapoor, Virender Sehwag, and members of the Ambani family. Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani hosted the evening, while Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and Shloka Mehta enjoyed the performances from the audience.
Numerous videos from the event have surfaced online. In one clip, Jeh, dressed in an adorable green outfit, was seen dancing with classmates while playfully gesturing to his parents, who enthusiastically cheered him on. Another video displayed Radhika Merchant babysitting Isha’s children as they danced to “Bam Bam Bole.” The evening also featured performances of Ed Sheeran’s song “Sapphire,” which the children sang along to.
A compilation video showcased moments from the annual event, including appearances by Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, and Isha’s children. Additionally, footage showed Nita dancing joyfully with the kids to “Sapphire.”
In her address to the audience, Nita Ambani remarked, “What a magical evening. Agree?” She emphasized the powerful lesson from the children: “never stop trying, and that is very courageous.” Expressing her gratitude, she thanked the young performers and the audience for their applause, along with the parents and grandparents for their trust in the school.
Isha Ambani also spoke at the gathering, highlighting their celebration of the children’s growth and expressing appreciation for the continuous support from families and teachers. She noted that the evening was dedicated to the 122 children who performed.
The program commenced with a brief prayer led by Nita Ambani and the children, followed by the ceremonial breaking of a coconut to signal the start of the festivities. After the performances, the children enjoyed an after-party featuring cupcake decorating, games, and educational activities centered around animals, birds, and domestic creatures.
