Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has shared her thoughts on her recent photoshoot, describing it as a transformative journey that pushed her to embrace vulnerability. In an Instagram post, Aman highlighted how the creativity of the team involved allowed her to break free from her comfort zone. On Monday, she posted several breathtaking images from the shoot, noting that she typically doesn’t remove her glasses for most people, but made an exception for this particular session.
In her caption, the ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ star stated, “I don’t take my glasses off for many people, but I did it for Dulari. When the director has a compelling vision, I am less conscious of mine. This photoshoot insisted on vulnerability. They fastened my hair away from my face, packed away my glasses in a padded case, and walked me into a garden of abstracted, handcrafted floral dreams.” She also shared her preference for outfits that narrate her story and expressed that the fabrics and cuts in the shoot were neat, comfortable, and elegant. “These images are so evocative. Of what? I suppose it will vary from viewer to viewer, each will interpret this through their own experiences and memories. Truly, an enchanting photoshoot with ethereal results. Not to my credit, no. But to the credit of the team,” she added.
The photos showcase Aman in various elegant poses, dressed in a grey top and skirt, her hair styled in a bun adorned with flowers. On the professional front, the actress recently made an appearance on the singing reality show “Indian Idol 16” alongside fellow legend Helen. The weekend episode, titled “Celebrating the Lady Dons,” paid tribute to both actresses as contestants honored their legacy through performances of their iconic tracks.
