Unlock Secrets: Delhi Confidential Reveals Intriguing Personal Connections
As he begins his role as the party in charge of Tamil Nadu, BJP Vice President Baijayant Panda is reconnecting with his old ties in the state. Notably, one of his sisters is married into a Tamil family, and his father-in-law from Punjab is fluent in Tamil. Panda himself spent two years at the Kodaikanal International School and plans to visit both the school and one of his favorite teachers residing in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. During his inaugural visit to Chennai in this capacity, he met PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss, who was his benchmate during the 16th Lok Sabha. Panda was appointed as party in charge for Tamil Nadu last month, leading up to the elections scheduled for 2026.
In another development, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has directed all secretaries and departments in Delhi to encourage participation in the upcoming Run for Unity at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium on October 31. The event will take place from 7:20 AM to 7:55 AM, marking Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest, flagging off the event. However, whispers in the corridors suggest the focus is shifting from fitness to punctuality, as officials are instructed to report by 6:15 AM.
Meanwhile, as the NDA deliberates on its official theme song for the Bihar Assembly elections, one of its prominent campaigners, popular Purvanchali star Manoj Tiwari, has already released a catchy number titled “Haan hum Bihari hain ji.” This song celebrates Bihar’s rich cultural and historical heritage and has received backing from the BJP. It is expected to play a pivotal role in the party’s campaign, evoking connections to significant historical figures such as Buddha, Aryabhata, Chanakya, and Ashoka.
