The Pazhavoor police have apprehended a 16-year-old boy after he fatally struck a 65-year-old man and his six-year-old granddaughter while driving recklessly on the bustling Tirunelveli-Kanniyakumari National Highway. The tragic incident occurred on Monday when the boy’s speeding car collided with the motorcycle being ridden by Joseph, a resident of Vadakkankulam, and his granddaughter, tragically resulting in their deaths at the scene.

Through diligent inquiry, authorities identified the minor from NGO Colony in Palayamkottai as the driver responsible for the fatal crash.
