In Jammu and Kashmir, an unidentified terrorist has been killed during a continuing operation in the GUDDAR forest area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. According to an Army spokesperson, a Junior Commissioned Officer also sustained injuries during the operation.
This morning, a joint cordon and search operation was initiated based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists. The Army, along with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir police, launched this coordinated effort in the GUDDAR forest.
As the security forces approached the suspected location, the hiding terrorists opened fire indiscriminately, leading to a fierce gunfight. The operation is still ongoing, with forces engaged in efforts to neutralize any remaining threats in the area.
