Meba Ofilia and Reble: Meghalaya’s Dazzling Stars at Rolling Loud India
Two talented artists from Meghalaya are poised to make history as they join the star-studded lineup for Rolling Loud India, marking a significant breakthrough for the northeastern state’s music scene. Meba Ofilia and Reble will share the stage with global superstars like Wiz Khalifa, Don Toliver, and Central Cee at the festival’s inaugural event in Mumbai this November. Their participation underscores a pivotal moment for the burgeoning hip-hop culture in Meghalaya, placing the state’s musical talent on a prominent international stage.
The two-day festival will take place at Loud Park in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, on November 22-23. The first day will showcase UK rap sensation Central Cee, who is riding high following his chart-topping collaboration “Which One” with Drake, alongside GRAMMY-nominated legend Wiz Khalifa. Khalifa is set to bring his extensive repertoire, including hits like “Black and Yellow,” “See You Again,” and “Young Wild & Free,” to Indian audiences.
Ofilia is part of a remarkable undercard that features names such as Swae Lee, DaBaby, Kerala’s viral star Hanumankind, and Denzel Curry. Her involvement signals Rolling Loud’s dedication to promoting diverse voices within India’s evolving music landscape.
The second day of the festival will highlight Punjabi powerhouse Karan Aujla, who will make history as the first artist from the host country to headline an international Rolling Loud event. He will be joined by Don Toliver, known for his genre-blending hits such as “No Idea” and “After Party,” and DIVINE, who is set to debut his upcoming album ‘Walking on Water’ live for the first time.
Reble will complete the second day’s lineup alongside notable performers like Sheck Wes, NAV, Westside Gunn, and Ski Mask The Slump God. This diverse ensemble not only features established international artists but also showcases emerging Indian talent, fostering a unique cultural exchange.
Rolling Loud co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif expressed their long-standing ambition to bring the festival to India. “This lineup reflects both the worldwide power of hip-hop and the rising strength of India’s own scene,” they emphasized, highlighting the festival’s role in advancing hip-hop on a global scale.
For Meghalaya’s music community, the opportunity for two local artists to share stages with international heavyweights represents a validation of the state’s creative potential and paves the way for future opportunities in the global music industry.
