AICC secretary and Punjab observer Manoj Yadav announced that the year 2025 will focus on strengthening the Congress organization under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, as directed by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. Speaking to the media in Mohali alongside MP Dr. Amar Singh, Yadav noted that organizational initiatives are already underway in states like Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttarakhand, and Punjab, while Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Gujarat have successfully completed similar exercises.
Yadav emphasized the vital role of district presidents, stating, “The most crucial link is the district president, who interacts daily with the people. Our aim is to make them accountable, well-trained, and empowered to take feedback directly to the high command.” He also announced that elections for district presidents will be finalized by September 14, with forms accepted until Tuesday, and a final report due by September 16. Yadav described this process as a “feedback-based process, not an election,” ensuring every aspirant will have one-on-one interactions.
Furthermore, he highlighted that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and Nyay Yatra have revitalized the Congress party, aiming to channel this renewed energy into every district across Punjab.
