Applications are now open for the recruitment of Teaching Associates at Assam Women’s University in Jorhat, Assam, for the year 2025. For Computer Science and Technology, candidates should have a Master’s degree in the relevant field. Likewise, those interested in Mass Communication and Journalism should have their Master’s degree in that discipline, meeting the 55% requirement. Lastly, candidates for Political Science must have a Master’s degree with the same mark criteria.
The monthly salary for these positions is set at Rs. 20,000, with an age limit of 40 years applicable as of August 1, 2025. Candidates interested in applying can attend a walk-in interview scheduled from August 27 to September 1, 2025, starting at 10 AM, with reporting time at 9 AM. The interview will take place at the Community Hall of Assam Women’s University, Rowriah, Jorhat.
Prospective applicants should submit their application in the standard format, alongside self-attested photocopies of relevant qualifications, certificates, mark sheets, age proof, domicile certificates, and other supporting documents during their interview. It is mandatory to present all original documents for verification on the interview day. Additionally, candidates are required to bring a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 in the form of a Demand Draft, made payable to the Registrar, Assam Women’s University.
