Shefali Jariwala, well-known for her hit music video “Kaanta Laga,” tragically passed away on June 27 at the age of 42. Investigations into the cause of her untimely death are ongoing, and new developments have emerged regarding her health and the circumstances leading up to her passing.
The Mumbai Police conducted a search of Jariwala’s apartment in Andheri, where they discovered various beauty supplements, including anti-aging medications, skin glow tablets, and vitamin supplements. Reports indicate that these items were found while authorities were collecting legal documentation related to the ongoing investigation.
Jariwala’s husband, Parag Tyagi, rushed her to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital, where she was sadly declared dead on arrival. Initial statements suggested that Jariwala suffered a cardiac arrest, though police have clarified that the exact cause of her death remains unclear and is still under investigation.
Following her death, her remains were sent to RN Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination, the results of which have yet to be released. Hospital sources have suggested that a sudden drop in her blood pressure may have contributed to her passing. “Doctors at Cooper Hospital suspect a sudden dip in blood pressure as the likely cause of death. We are awaiting the post-mortem report for confirmation,” a police officer stated.
Parag Tyagi informed authorities that Jariwala had been fasting for a Satyanarayan pooja performed at their home and previously collapsed after consuming food a day before her passing. This information adds a complex layer to the unfolding narrative surrounding her health.
In a surprising twist, actor-model Paras Chhabra’s podcast resurfaced after Jariwala’s death, in which he had analyzed her astrological chart and ominously suggested the possibility of a “sudden death” based on her kundali.
