
Thailand’s Opal Suchata Clinches 72nd Miss World Title: A Historic Triumph!
Miss Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, was crowned Miss World 2025 during the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant held in Hyderabad tonight. Hasset Dereje Admassu from Ethiopia received the title of first runner-up, while Maja Klajda from Poland was named second runner-up.
The 22-year-old from Phuket distinguished herself through her confidence, grace, and commitment to raising awareness about women’s health issues. She claimed the crown after a competitive event that featured over 100 contestants from all around the globe.
The final group of contestants included representatives from Martinique, Ethiopia, Poland, and Thailand. The contestant from Martinique was recognized as Miss America and Caribbean, while the contestant from Ethiopia earned the title of Miss Africa. The title of Miss World Europe went to the contestant from Poland, and Thailand’s contestant was designated as Miss Asia and Oceania.
In addition, renowned actor Sonu Sood was awarded the Miss World Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic efforts.
