Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has officially launched the ‘Chief Minister’s Dashboard,’ a cutting-edge platform designed to provide real-time insights into vital development indicators across the state. The unveiling took place during a review meeting with Deputy Commissioners and CEOs of Zilla Panchayats at Vidhana Soudha, the administrative heart of Karnataka, on May 30, 2025.
Developed by the Centre for e-Governance (CeG), this innovative dashboard is now fully functional and accessible at cmdashboard.karnataka.gov.in. According to an official announcement, the platform aims to revolutionize governance by delivering integrated, real-time data that supports informed decision-making at the highest level. “This platform provides real-time, integrated insights into key development indicators across Karnataka, enabling data-driven governance,” the statement noted.
The Chief Minister’s Dashboard is architected using a microservices framework, offering scalability and straightforward integration. By employing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to gather data from various departments, the dashboard eliminates the need for manual data entry, thereby enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Officials indicated that the dashboard categorizes state performance data into four primary sectors: Economic Growth, Legal/Judiciary Management, Infrastructure Development, and Citizen-Centric Governance. Economic Growth data includes aspects such as investments and beneficiaries, while Legal Management covers Right to Information (RTI) requests and case disposals under the Sakala initiative. The Infrastructure Development sector addresses critical areas like roads, irrigation, and renewable energy projects, and Citizen-Centric Governance focuses on Guarantee Schemes and Janaspandana services.
Designed with transparency in mind, the dashboard not only displays real-time metrics but also grants the public access to essential schemes and service outcomes. This initiative is expected to enhance accountability and foster greater citizen engagement in governance.
