Emotional Fallout: How Laluw’s Exclusion Affects Family Dynamics
Former Chief Minister of Bihar and President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Lalu Prasad Yadav, has expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for six months. Lalu made the announcement himself on social media platform X.
In his post, Lalu stated, “Neglecting moral values in personal life weakens our collective struggle for social justice. My eldest son’s activities, public behavior, and irresponsible conduct have hurt our family values and traditions. Therefore, he has been sent away from the party and the family. From now on, he will have no role in the party or the family. He has been expelled from the party for six months.”
For a long time, there had been unrest within Lalu’s family regarding Tej Pratap. This time, crossing the limits of patience, Lalu Prasad decided to expel him from the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
On Saturday, Tej Pratap shared a post on Facebook, announcing a long-term relationship with a young woman named Anushka Yadav, claiming they have been in love and together for the past 12 years. This post gained significant attention on social media. Following this, Lalu expressed that ignoring moral values in personal life weakens the collective fight for social justice. Tej Pratap’s behavior did not align with family values or traditions.
Lalu Prasad’s younger son, Tejashwi Yadav, reacted to the situation on Sunday in Patna, indicating the importance of keeping political and personal lives separate.
Tejashwi said, “I do not like these matters and cannot tolerate them. Personal life should be distinct. He is a grown man and has the right to make his own decisions.” However, following his post on Saturday, Tej Pratap claimed that his social media account had been hacked, alleging that the photo was posted to insult his family.
