This marked her second appearance at Cannes, where she represented India and the Indian film industry. Mouni dazzled in a Caroline Couture outfit, complemented by stunning Chopard jewels. On the film front, Mouni is set to star in David Dhawan’s upcoming project, “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.” In a heartfelt note posted on May 16, she expressed her excitement about working with Dhawan, calling it a dream come true. “If anyone of you understand magic and the theory of dreams coming true, this is it. Working with David sir was a lifelong dream. His films are like ‘FRIENDS’ to me. He and Rohit sir are the pillars of this film. Best experience ever,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her collaboration with Varun Dhawan, Mouni praised him as the hardest-working and most genuine superstar she has worked with, stating, “Unlucky for you, the person you are overshadows the actor/dancer you are, and to me it’s a good thing.”
