GUWAHATI: A theft has been reported at the under-construction residence of Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, in the Rukminigaon area. Minister Margherita confirmed to GPlus that the incident occurred 15 days ago.
The burglary involved the theft of electrical wiring from the construction site. Police stated that unknown individuals entered the premises and took the materials while the site was unattended. An official from the Dispur Police Station remarked, “Thieves targeted electrical wiring from the construction site in Rukminigaon. A case has been registered, and the matter is under investigation.”
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
