Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced significant budget allocations for scientific research, with the central government earmarking ₹20,000 crore for research. He also addressed concerns regarding examination question papers, stating that the format is evolving due to the increasing number of students. "This year, 4.29 lakh students appeared for the High School examination and 3 lakh for Higher Secondary. We are considering a shift to more pages and multiple mediums in question papers, with additional reading time for students."

Pegu hinted at a possible shift in exam scheduling, citing a discussion on conducting exams 15 minutes earlier to better manage the increased number of students.
