Mumbai, Feb 7: In a recent development in Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case, the Mumbai Police have revealed that some of the fingerprints collected from the crime scene have matched those of the accused, Shariful Islam. This crucial finding emerged after forensic examination of the fingerprint samples taken from Saif’s Bandra residence. While some reports have confirmed the match, the police are still awaiting the final comprehensive report to solidify the case.
The dramatic incident unfolded on January 16, when Shariful Islam allegedly broke into Khan’s home, entering through the room of Saif’s youngest son, Jeh Ali Khan, during the early morning hours. Despite multiple stab wounds, including two critical ones near his spine, the 54-year-old actor managed to get to the hospital with his son Taimur by his side.
