Basar’s Proud Celebration: Unveiling 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Passion and Cutting-Edge 4G CCTV Technology
The 76th Republic Day in Basar, Arunachal Pradesh, was celebrated with great enthusiasm, marked by the launch of a state-of-the-art 4G CCTV surveillance and vigilance system to boost security in the township. The celebration took place at Todak Basar Memorial Stadium, beginning with Basar MLA Nyabi Jini Dirchi hoisting the national flag. Distinguished attendees included the Leparada District DC, SP, senior citizens, and retired officers.
The event commenced with a solemn Guard of Honor by the Arunachal Pradesh Police, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and an impressive March Past. In his speech, MLA Nyabi Dirchi highlighted the importance of the day and called on citizens to commit to democratic values and inclusivity.
A highlight of the day was the inauguration of multiple exhibition stalls showcasing the local talent and craftsmanship, orchestrated by various departments and NGOs. The unveiling of the surveillance system was a significant step towards enhancing public safety in Basar.
Local community contributions were recognized, honoring district performers and acknowledging the cleanest colony. Newly appointed Head Gaon Burahs (HGBs) and Gaon Burahs (GBs) received their appointment certificates, signifying a step forward in community governance.
The event also featured a vibrant cultural program that included patriotic dances, traditional Galo performances, and an exciting Taekwondo demonstration by local youth, enriching the event’s spirit.
