Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): In a decisive effort to address the escalating traffic congestion in Dimapur, a high-level meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, spearheaded by Chief Secretary Dr. J. Alam, IAS. The gathering included eminent officials from the District Administration, police force, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), urban planning experts, and various departmental representatives, all united in seeking sustainable traffic solutions.
Chief Secretary Alam stressed the urgency of tackling Dimapur’s traffic woes, highlighting the necessity for innovative, concerted strategies across multiple sectors. To improve urban mobility, several critical measures were proposed:
