Known for choosing adventurous and action-packed roles, Azam explained that he took on this project due to its focus on the complex relationship between a father and son. “It’s a strong and powerful role, which is why I opted to be a part of it,” he commented.
Interestingly, Azam noted the irony of his circumstances, revealing that while working on “Dheere Dheere Se” just a year ago, he was filming next to Anupamaa’s set. He never anticipated becoming part of the latter. He reflected on how unpredictably such opportunities come about in life.
Besides Rahil Azam, viewers will also see new entrants like Zalak Desai and Alka Kaushal joining the cast. Sheersha Tiwari will appear as Prem’s sister, while Zalak Desai will assume the role of Prem’s mother. As the storyline unfolds, it will be revealed that Prem, who has kept his family background under wraps, actually comes from a large, affluent family that also includes Moti Baa.
