Shocking Revelation: Mohan Babu Denounces ‘False Propaganda’ Over Anticipatory Bail in Journalist Assault Case
Veteran actor Mohan Babu has recently addressed rumors concerning his anticipatory bail petition. Contrary to media reports, Babu clarified that his bail has not been rejected. He took to social media platform X to correct the misinformation, stating, “False propaganda is being circulated! Anticipatory bail has NOT been rejected and currently, I am under medical care in my home. I request the media to get the facts right.”
These clarifications come amid reports suggesting that the Telangana High Court had denied his bail plea following allegations of an attack on a journalist. Mohan Babu’s statement directly counters these claims, offering insight into his legal standing and his current health status.
In addition to addressing the bail issue, Mohan Babu has also posted an apology aimed at the journalist involved in the incident outside his Hyderabad home. Using his X account, Babu explained that he was defending himself from what he described as “anti-social elements,” leading to unintended media involvement. He labeled the incident “unfortunate” and expressed remorse for any harm caused.
The incident arose when, according to Babu, a large group estimated between 30 to 50 intruders allegedly broke into his property, inciting chaos. During this turmoil, media members were inadvertently drawn into the melee, resulting in injury to journalist Mr. Ranjit. The actor expressed deep regret for the injury and the subsequent inconvenience caused to the journalist.
Babu explained that due to recent health concerns, he was hospitalized for 48 hours and unable to immediately address the situation. However, he made it a priority to clarify the situation and extend his apology at the earliest opportunity.
These statements come after a police complaint was filed by the injured journalist, leading to a case against Babu under Section 118 (1) of the BNS for causing hurt using dangerous means. Mohan Babu’s recent social media activity is a direct effort to set the record straight amid swirling controversies.
