Pamela Anderson Sets the Record Straight on Emotional Jon Peters Marriage Saga
In a recent episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast, Pamela Anderson addressed a major misconception about her marital history, clarifying that she’s been married only four times, not six. While speaking with host Scott Feinberg, the “Baywatch” star set the record straight about her rumored 12-day marriage to Jon Peters, a hairdresser-turned-filmmaker. Anderson described this widely reported union as mistaken, insisting, “I never was married to Jon Peters.” She recounted how Peters, a longtime friend, proposed in 2020 upon her return from France, even attempting to involve her son in the jokey offer. Despite the comical scenario with Peters and his family, Anderson emphasized that it was never a real marriage, although it remains a source of public confusion, even appearing on her Wikipedia page.
Anderson’s genuine matrimonial history involves her first, high-profile marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in the ’90s, followed by her 2006 union with singer Kid Rock, which ended in divorce a year later. Subsequently, she had a tumultuous relationship with poker player Rick Salomon. They married in October 2007, annulled the union by March 2008, remarried in 2014, but divorced again by February 2015. In December 2020, Anderson married her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, announcing their split in January 2022.
During the podcast, Anderson explained that her supposed marriage to Salomon on the first occasion was annulled, hence not officially counted as a marriage. She humorously noted the challenge in correcting public records, asserting that claiming only four marriages feels “a little less bad.” Through this clarification, Anderson lightheartedly addressed misconceptions about her personal life, aiming to set the record straight for her fans and the public.
