Pushpa 2 Smashes Indian Box Office Records with Unprecedented Opening

Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated film, "Pushpa 2: The Rule," has taken the Indian cinema by storm, claiming the title of the highest-grossing Indian opener ever. Outpacing previous record-holder Shah Rukh Khan’s "Jawan," which earned Rs 65.5 crore on its first day, "Pushpa 2" opened with an astounding Rs 67 crore, setting new benchmarks in the film industry.

This incredible opening surpasses that of its predecessor, "Pushpa: The Rise," which debuted with Rs 3.33 crore, marking a dramatic 1912% increase in opening-day revenue. The film has not only received tremendous applause from both critics and audiences but has also made history by collecting over Rs 50 crore net in two languages, Telugu and Hindi, on its first day.

"Pushpa 2" has even outperformed SS Rajamouli’s "RRR" in terms of first-day collections, which had grossed Rs 156 crore. Impressively, the film achieved 80.14% Telugu occupancy and 51.53% Hindi occupancy on release day, according to Sacnilk.com.
