OnePlus has officially unveiled OxygenOS 15, its latest Android skin based on Android 15, which Google recently released. The first open beta for OxygenOS 15 will be available for the OnePlus 12 on October 30, with a stable version anticipated by the end of November.
OxygenOS 15 is touted as a significant upgrade centering on speed, design, and AI enhancements. Intelligent Search enhances on-device search capabilities, with Circle to Search replacing Google Assistant on the OnePlus 13. Other features like Pass Scan for boarding passes and AI Notes, which can format and refine notes, are voice-powered.
OxygenOS 15 showcases a new boot animation, icons, a wider range of shelf card options, and customizable fingerprint unlocking styles. Visual enhancements such as Shimmering Effects and Gaussian Blur promise a harmonious user experience. The interface, including the Settings menu, notification bar, and control center, has been streamlined.
Additionally, the system introduces a Share with iPhone feature for easy file sharing with Apple devices, along with theft protection features previously announced by Google. This major update underscores OnePlus’s commitment to innovating and refining its user experience.
