In a tragic series of road accidents in Assam, a woman was killed and five others were injured in separate incidents. In another accident on Vijayadashami night, a speeding Tata Magic vehicle crashed into a tree in Kaziranga’s Bacha Gaon. The collision claimed the lives of Nayan Das, 24, from Bokakhat, and Madhurjya Das, 25, from Jorhat. The driver, Dibyajyoti Bhardwaj from Jorhat, survived with injuries. As investigations proceed, these incidents highlight urgent concerns about road safety in the region.
