In a subsequent session focused on sleep health, Dr. K. Madhukumar highlighted the crucial role of pulmonary function in sleep quality. He stressed that pulmonologists are essential in diagnosing and managing sleep-related breathing disorders such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea, COPD, and asthma, which have a considerable impact on sleep quality.
